The IMPAACT Network congratulates Dr. Edmund Capparelli as the 2026 Roger Jelliffe Individualized Therapy Award recipient! This award is given annually by the American College of Clinical Pharmacology (ACCP) to recognize an individual who significantly advances the field of personalized medicine by improving the use of drugs or biologics in patients.

Dr. Capparelli is a professor of Clinical Pharmacology at the Skaggs School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of California, San Diego. He has worked with IMPAACT for over two decades, serving as protocol pharmacologist on over 25 studies. Dr. Capparelli’s work spans across key Network research priorities, supporting PK research in pregnancy and postpartum (P1026s and IMPAACT 2026), long-acting injectable ARVs for children (IMPAACT 2017/MOCHA and IMPAACT 2036/CRAYON), and broadly neutralizing antibodies or bNAbs (IMPAACT 2042/Tatelo Plus, IMPAACT 2037, and P1115).
